Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field or industry related discipline
  • A minimum of 10 years of strategic leadership experience focused on developing and leading technical teams providing solutions for power delivery projects and programs of all size and complexity.
  • A minimum of 5 years focused on providing diverse power delivery solutions to the industry
  • Experience with leading and/or coordinating worksharing projects with diverse staff in multiple office locations.
  • Strong brand recognition in the power delivery industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish new business relationships, bring new work and maintain client satisfaction.
  • Experience with consulting, planning, design, construction, and operation of power delivery projects, including substations, transmission lines, distribution lines, and/or system planning and studies.
  • Travel may be required approximately 20-40% of time and ability to travel both domestic and internationally are a must.
  • Must have excellent communication, presentation and writing skills.
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
  • Must have project management skills with a strong ability to maintain a high standard of quality in the project deliverable.
  • Strong technical understanding of electric transmission and distribution systems and overall power delivery design needs.

 PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  •  PE or PEng.
  • PMP
  • Participant in industry professional organizations, publications and conferences.
  • Track record presenting at conferences and representing a company in the PD industry.
  • Preferred experience working with a variety of client types, including regulated and non-regulated utilities, Independent Power Producers, municipalities, mission-critical facility owners/developers, and other public and private clients.
  • It is strongly preferred that the candidate reside within the region.

  • Colorado will be $159,390 - $227,700 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location
