Coastal Engineer
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Coastal, Ocean, or Civil (Hydraulic, Geotechnical, or Structural emphasis) Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant experience (i.e. consulting, construction, research, etc.).
- PE License
- Strong academic and/or professional experience with: coastal processes, sea level rise, numerical modeling, metocean analysis or naval architecture.
- Demonstrated experience with coastal and marine models such as: MIKE 21, Mike 3, Delft 3D, USACE.
- Strong data analysis skills including the application of MATLAB, Python, etc. to analyzing large data sets a plus.
- Experience preparing technical report.
- Experience with state and federal permits.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and in group environments.
- Desire to work on national and international projects.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or PhD degree preferred.
- Experience preparing construction plans and specifications.
- Spanish language capabilities a plus.

The expected compensation range for this position is $75,922 - $123,250 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
