Corrosion Engineer
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
- California EIT certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corrosion failure analysis, corrosion mitigation planning, design, and condition assessment.
- AMPP (NACE) CP-2 certification.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must possess the ability to multi-task and work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Must have good communication/documentation skills and be able to work in a team environment.
- Ability to travel is required. Valid class C driver’s license is required.
- May be required to lift and pull up to 50 pounds and must be physically capable of performing manual tasks without restriction.
- Proficiency with MS Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Project and Access are a plus.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- PE license is strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their PE license will have the title of Corrosion EIT.
- Experience in corrosion engineering is preferred.
- Strong client and project management skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and ESRI ArcGIS is preferred.
