Engineering Intern
Required Qualifications
- Should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical, or Structural Engineering (or a related field) from an ABET-accredited university.
- Strong interest in machinery design and 2D & 3D CAD - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude, ability to coordinate their work with others and work as part of a team environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Attention to accuracy, detail-orientated, self-directed learning, ability to meet deadlines
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or coursework in power and energy
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to the field of study/industry
- Experience with computer-aided design programs (AutoCAD, MicroStation, SolidWorks, Revit, etc.)
- Preference is given to local candidates.
