Primary Responsibilities 

The primary duties of the Environmental Planner 2 include:

Preparing the full range of CEQA and NEPA documentation for a wide variety of projects, including transportation, water, renewable energy, utilities, and land use development

Conducts environmental research; writes documents; evaluates potential environmental impact of projects; drafts environmental mitigation measures. 

Working under the supervision of a Senior Environmental Planner or Environmental Project Manager, this position will be responsible for research and preparation of CEQA and NEPA documents, including coordination with environmental specialists preparing technical reports to be integrated into project deliverables.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or closely related field
  • A minimum of 5 years environmental experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Strong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving and research abilities
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
