Environmental Project Manager
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in combined? environmental planning and regulatory experience.
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
- Self-starter with excellent writing, verbal, and communication skills for a broad range of audiences including regulatory, non-governmental, and public.
- Ability to think creatively and problem-solveStrong conceptual, organizational, problem-solving, and research skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborative as part of a team and foster this of team.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8 years developing scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for medium to highly complex environmental projects with multi-disciplinary teams and multi-agency efforts with a strong focus on siting and routing studies.
- Experience preparing applications for submittal to a Public Utilities Commission.
- Experience preparing and providing expert witness testimony.
- Experience and understanding of permit requirements in Missouri, Kansas, and/or Illinois.
- Strong conceptual, organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and research abilities.
- Ability to effectively support multiple projects ranging in complexity and time sensitivity Identify and resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to interact with design and construction teams in a positive and proactive manner.
