Environmental Scientist 2

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Planning, Environmental Sciences or closely related field

• Minimum 5 years technical and/or field experience preparing environmental documents

• Strong understanding of transportation and environmental planning principles and analysis methods

• Knowledgeable in delivering highway and transit planning projects

• Experienced in preparing documents under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

• Experience preparing 404/401 permit applications

• Experience in using GIS for analysis and presentation

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
