Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology.
  • Minimum five (5) years of related work experience (geology and/or engineering geology).  
  • PG license, CEG preferred.
  • Experience with field methods, including geologic mapping, test pit/trench logging, geotechnical drilling, downhole testing, and geophysical surveys.
  • Proficiency with modeling software (Rocscience, Geostudio, and others).
  • Proficiency with geographic information systems (GIS) software – GIS, Global Mapper, Leapfrog;
  • Familiarity with lidar, photogrammetry preferable.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow direction and work in a team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and organization skills;
  • Ability to communicate in a professional and positive manner.
  • Candidates must be able to work in the field up to 50% of the time;
  • Possess a valid driver’s license in good standing;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
