Geologist/Hydrogeologist

Required

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental or Earth Sciences, Hydrogeology, or closely related field.
• Capable of adequately completing or having the knowledge to support the responsibilities listed above
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs (MS Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Self-starter with excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced dynamic environment handling multiple project assignments and meeting strict deadlines
• Ability and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in adverse environmental conditions
• Ability to organize and evaluate data including the preparation of reports, tables, graphs, charts, and figures
• The availability for extended fieldwork (up to 14 days) and travel (Continental U.S. and Caribbean) - Annual travel is estimated at 60 to 80%.
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture

Preferred 

• Knowledge of ArcGIS
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training
• Basic knowledge of federal and New York/New Jersey state environmental regulations
• Previous experience in a similar field/position
