Required Qualifications
This position requires the following skills, attributes and experience:
- Minimum 20 years of experience in transit planning/engineering
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering, planning or a related field with associated registrations.
- Experienced in development and management of strategic marketing programs for transit planning and/or engineering services.
- Experienced in development and management of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits.
- Experienced in overall staff development to include recruiting, career path and professional growth.
- Experienced with industry associations including a visible profile in the market sector.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively with other Market Sector Directors, Business Class Directors, Regional Business Group Directors, Area Business Group Managers, Area Marketing Managers and Department Managers
- And understanding of transit agencies across the US and abroad including industry challenges and innovations

Typical starting pay range for this position:
California will be $179,487.00 - $303,030.00 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
Washington will be $155,012.00 - $268,065.00 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
