In the role of Interior Design Intern, we'll count on you to: 

  • Participate on exciting projects to gain real-world experience
  • Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs
  • Perform assignments under the direct supervision of an Architect, Project Manager, or other professionals
  • Participate in the architectural design process, and develop alternative solutions and presentation graphics used to communicate concepts to client or for agency approval
  • Follow through on design development drawings and models, and collaborate with production staff for technical details and completion of construction drawings
  • Complete code reviews under direction of an Architect
  • The internship position will be a full-time position depending on the requirements of the local design studio, and the student's degree program.  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • This position requires student candidates that possess a strong desire to learn about and to progress through the interior design profession. 

  • Having the ability to take direction from others and maintain a positive attitude is paramount, along with being a self-starter and team player.  

  • Knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp/ Rhino (or similar), and Microsoft Office required

  • Local candidate preferred.

Required Qualifications
  • A student enrolled in a CIDA accredited Interior Design or Interior Architecture university program
