In the role of Junior Accountant, we'll count on you to: 
  • Work under direct supervision of Department Accountant and Regional Controller to monitor department overhead general ledger accounts, invoicing, payables, receivables, and other related financial information. 
  • Perform accounting functions and establish internal controls for procedures and practices in accordance with company policies, accounting procedures, and contractual obligations. 
  • Work independently to perform standard Accounts Payable procedures of recurring nature, effectively manage the invoice tracking, filing the documents and records.
  • Communicate and correspond directly with the vendors with respect to invoicing, receivables, credit memos and purchase orders.
  • Track and monitor Professional Registrations, Safety Trainings, Membership and Social Club Dues.
  • Perform monthly Cost Recovery on Vehicle Mileage, Toll Roads and Stamps, and provide backup documents as needed to support Project Accounting Team.
  • Coordinate and review the equipment purchases, rental agreements and LAB supplies purchase orders.
  • Assist with Permit Fees Applications to meet the deadlines.
  • Perform monthly audit on General Ledger accounts, Expense Reports, FNBO P-cards to adhere audit compliance. 
  • Inform management on financial performance of departments and/or analysis findings.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience
  • Previous experience with Oracle E-Business Suite software
  • Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Preference given to local candidates
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail, manage multiple projects independently
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
