HDR has an exciting opportunity for a Field Office Principal to lead our Construction Services team in Kentucky.
Primary Responsibilities
- Management of the day-to-day construction services operations for the Field Services business community in Kentucky including business development, marketing and pursuits, staffing, project financials, training, and QA oversight
- Serve as a Project/Construction Manager on large construction projects including design-build and design-bid-build delivery, program management, construction engineering, and other innovative delivery programs
- Support project services such as CPM scheduling, project/program controls, construction engineering and inspection, and construction management
- Serve as a client manager in establishing and maintaining client and industry team relationships
Preferred Qualifications:
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of Kentucky
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Transportation CEI industry
- Business development experience
- Knowledge of local market, clients, and competition
- Thorough understanding of construction management standards of practice, and familiarity with construction scheduling processes, materials, means and methods of construction delivery and specifications
- Local candidates are preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 10 years experience
- Professional registration, license or certification may be required based on role
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Good leadership and organizational skills
