Mechanical Designer / EIT

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering field
• EIT or ability to obtain EIT within 1 year of employment. Candidates hired without their EIT will be called a Mechanical Designer. 
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, Revit, Trane Trace3D, or similar software
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or related engineering field
• Recent graduates will be considered, 1-2 years of experience preferred.
• Experience using Load Calculation Software (HAP, Trane, IESEV)
• Construction administration experience is a plus.
• Local candidates preferred; Preference given to local candidates.
• Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position in New York City is $70,000 - $106,950 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.)
