Mechanical Section Lead
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of mechanical engineering experience; preferably in the design of engineering systems for large complex buildings in the Healthcare and/or Education, Science and Technology industries or other.
- PE required.
- Previous project management experience preferred.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED is desirable.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
- Experience mentoring junior staff.
- Applied knowledge of Trane Trace 700.
- Applied knowledge of Revit with a thorough understanding of best practices.
- Experience reviewing and understanding energy models to facilitate the design team in determining an optimized engineering solution.
- Experience with Federal project requirements, knowledge of USACE UFCs a plus.
- Experience in mission critical / data center design, preferred. Familiarity with various data center industry standards such as ASHRAE TC9.9 and the Uptime Institute beneficial.
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19. This position requires onsite client visits, or, this position will be co-located at the client site. The client requires all contractors/consultants/vendors who work or visit the site be fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

The expected compensation range for this position is $138,702.00- $213,000 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
