Power Intern

Required Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Graduate Electrical Engineering program

• Attention to detail a must

• Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills

• Must have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

• Must be able to perform work at the Irvine office, this role does not allow for remote work.

• Ideal candidate would be available to complete 10-20 hours per week during the school year and be available to work full time during the summer.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 3 years minimum completed toward degree.

• Candidate should have successfully completed Basic Circuits Analysis Course, or equivalent.

• Candidate should have an inquisitive mind.

• Candidate should be interested in high voltage power system design and protection

• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry

• Prefer candidate to be local to the Los Angeles County/Orange County Areas.

The expected compensation range for this position is $21.00- $25.00 hourly depending upon skills, experience, education, and geographical location.
