Principal Structural Engineer
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering or related Engineering discipline required
- PE required
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in structural engineering required
- Experience leading technical teams delivering structural design projects
- Strong knowledge of structural modeling software such as STAAD or other 3D analysis and finite element modeling software
- Technical expertise with environmental engineering structures
- Willingness to be a technical resource and guide junior engineers
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or MSCE Degree in Structural Engineering preferred
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm desired
- Willingness to represent HDR on ACI 350 Committee
- Experience with condition assessment and concrete repair desired
- Local candidates are preferred
