Project Architect
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program required.
- Registered/Licensed Architect with the ability to acquire NCARB certification.
- 5+ years of total experience with at least 2+ years as a registered architect.
- Due to client contract requirements, only candidates with US citizenship will be considered for this position, as permitted pursuant to section 274B(a)(2)(C) of the Immigration and Nationality Act.
- Proficient with multiple software programs, including, but not limited to: Revit, AutoCAD, BlueBeam, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent writing, communication, analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Experience in preparation and production of architectural contract documents and specifications.
- Solid knowledge of industry codes and demonstrated planning skills.
- Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Architecture.
- Project experience in the following categories considered a plus: healthcare, commercial, education/science, advanced technologies, institutional, civic/justice and/or government.
- Experience in sustainable design / LEED projects.
- Experience with BIM360, Cove.Tool, Photoshop, Illustrator, Enscape, Rhino and/or other related software.
- Preference given to local Texas candidates.
