Our Power Team is seeking an ambitious and organized team member to assist in the continued support and development of our Power Industry clients. The selected candidate must have an endless focus on efficiency, quality, and exceptional client service. The selected candidate should be able to work independently yet willingly support others to accomplish common goals. Must have the flexibility and ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and collaborate with various managers in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for someone who learns quickly, is able to meet deadlines, and handles stressful situations well. Attention to detail is a must.
In the role of Project Controls Administrator, we'll count on you to:
- Use and create processes and tools established on projects or programs to build efficiency
- Develop and assist in preparation of schedules
- Apply company quality assurance guidelines and procedures for project document management
- Assist in schedule baseline and schedule update reviews
- Assist in cost estimate development and review
- Exhibit professionalism with clients
- Work with multiple Project Managers and project teams as needed
- Assist with project guides, project reviews, project invoices and expense reports as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction or engineering
- Ability to interpret construction schedules
- PMI-SP and CST certification or Project Engineer
- Preference is given to local candidates
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in project coordination
- Proficiencies with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple long- and short-term tasks simultaneously
- Strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
