Rail Track Engineer (Part Time)
Required Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience as a Rail inspector, with experience in working for a rail transit agency, or railroad
- PE (Professional Engineer or ability to obtain)
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering
- Must be able to read and understand complex construction plans, specifications and contracts
- Must be able to write accurate and detailed inspector’s daily reports
- Must have experience with railroad track construction
- Must know and understand track safety standards and apply the knowledge in the field
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to walk 5+ miles a day.
