Senior Environmental Scientist
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Ecological Sciences, Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, or closely related field.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in environmental planning, regulatory compliance and permitting, and NEPA documentation.
- Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
- Applicants must be detail-oriented, organized, effective communicators, and team players with a strong focus on quality and client service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- Preference given to local candidates. Experience in Missouri and/or Kansas strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NEPA, with experience managing EA/EIS projects.
- Proven experience managing regulatory evaluation and permitting.
- Experience writing proposals, developing scopes of work, budgets, and schedules for complex environmental projects with multidisciplinary teams and multi-agency efforts.
