Senior Environmental Scientist
Required Qualifications
- BS or BA degree in Biology, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Soil Science, Geography, Geology, Engineering, Planning or related field
- 10 years of experience working through environmental planning, compliance and permitting with laws such as NEPA, ESA, Clean Water Act, National Historic Preservation Act and others, including developing plans, writing proposals, developing scopes of work, budgets and schedules for complex environmental projects with multi-disciplinary teams and multi-agency efforts; and marketing clients.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with project team members and clients
- Strong technical and strategic problem-solving skills including attention to detail, accuracy, and completeness
- Ability to lead multiple projects at the same time and work with multiple project teams
- Experience in business development and client management

Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Biology, Botany, Environmental Sciences, Social Sciences, Soil Science, Geography, Geology, Planning, or related field
- Knowledge and experience with environmental field review techniques, such as wetland delineations, plant and wildlife assessments, water quality assessments, or others.
- Experience working with state and federal agencies and an understanding of agency procedures.
