Senior GIS Analyst

Required Qualifications

• BA/BS in Geography, Geospatial Science, Geographic Information Systems, Planning, Environmental Sciences, or relevant field 
• 10 years of practical GIS experience; an advanced degree in relevant field may offset 5 years of experience 
• Proficient in use of Esri ArcGIS Desktop 
• Extensive experience in map generation and data visualization 
• Experience with ArcGIS Online platform and associated products such as Web App Builder, Story Maps, Collector, and Survey 123 
• Expertise with developing Geodatabases and schemas (domains, subtypes), SQL, and other databases 
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote) 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines 
• Must have a collaborative team attitude and strong interpersonal skills
• Critical thinking and problem solving skills with attention to detail and effective time management

Preferred Qualifications

• GISP Certification a plus 
• Esri Certification a plus
• Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise
• Experience using Adobe Illustrator or related graphic software for enhancing quality of GIS maps
• Local candidate preferred
