Senior Hardware Specialist

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or combination of education and relevant experience
• A minimum of 10 years working with specifications with focus on commercial and detention hardware
• Knowledge of specific/special products used in correctional/detention/Healthcare and other Commercial type facilities.
• Knowledge of types and uses of physical security barriers
• Knowledge of security/detention locking hardware systems and applications
• Knowledge of coordination requirements with Security Electronic systems
• Knowledge of Commercial/locking hardware systems and applications
• Knowledge of current ASTM’s/HMMA and other associated standards as related to products used in correctional/detention facilities
• Knowledge in the ability to recommend materials, procedures, and technical specifications requirements and contents
• Experience with Microsoft Office
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years experience working with specifications with focus on commercial and detention hardware.
