Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in environmental science, planning, public policy, natural resource management, hydrology, engineering, recreation planning, wildlife ecology, or related field is strongly preferred.  BA/BS degree will be considered with demonstrated power-industry and regulatory/permitting experience at equivalent level. 
  • Demonstrated experience managing technical study report development and management or mitigation plans for environmental projects.
  • Working knowledge of FERC-relicensing processes and documentation requirements.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant environmental permitting, regulatory process management, and/or project/team management experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience with FERC hydropower licensing, application of environmental and regulatory requirements and compliance preferred. Candidates with senior level FERC project and team management experience are also highly encouraged to apply.
  • Experience managing subconsultants and large, diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with the hydropower industry in the Pacific Northwest preferred

The expected compensation range for this position in Washington is $99,540.00 - $163,530.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
