Senior Inspector

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Construction Management with 4 years of experience or NICET Level 3 with 6 years of experience

•Considerable knowledge of construction materials, methods; ability to maintain field and office records; ability to perform complex quantity and engineering computations; ability to read and interpret plans and specifications; ability to deal effectively with people.

• NETTCP HMA Paving Certification

• NETTCP HMA Concrete Certification

• Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)

• Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• This position typically requires successfully passing drug-screening procedures prior to being hired thereafter subject to random and cause drug and alcohol testing

• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications

• CTDOT experience

• Familiarity with COMPASS and AASHTOWare

• ATSSA Traffic Control Supervisor training

• Ability to interpret construction schedules
