Senior Structural Engineer
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and P.E. licensure are required. Candidate should have 10 years structural engineering experience as it relates to hydroelectric power or heavy civil projects. Additional project experience on other water resources facilities will be considered. Requires solid understanding of structural steel and reinforced concrete design, detailing, and analysis. Ability to design, detail, and analyze masonry and wood structures is a plus. Field work and occasional overnight travel will be required. Computer knowledge: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA-3D, SAP2000, or similar analytical software.
Cross-disciplinary experience and expertise with geotechnical and geotechnical/structural projects, such as dam safety assessments, retaining walls, embankments, post-tensioned anchorage, seismic analysis and or similar work is a plus.
