Civil Designer / Siting Specialist
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Planning, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Demonstrated technical report writing background with familiarity with environmental regulations, laws, and guidelines
- Strong conceptual, organization, problem-solving, and research abilities
- Ability to work as part of a team, with clients, and independently
- Ability to travel anticipated less than 10 percent of the time
- Ability to work outside on uneven terrain under variable weather conditions
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in an employee-owned company
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the utility sector
- Minimum 2 years experience in land development design, planning, and environmental permitting
- EIT strongly preferred
- GIS, AutoCAD, and/or MicroStation experience
- Python Scripting
- Experience with Environmental Permitting for linear projects
- Preference will be given to local candidates
