SPS EIT/SPS Design Coordinator

In the role of System Protection and Studies EIT/SPS Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
- Conduct analyses to develop electrical design options, performing modeling and/or calculations
- Assist with preparing cost estimates or specifications.
- Perform routine engineering and design tasks and participate in field reviews or construction observation.
- Work under the direct supervision of a Project Engineer, APM, or PM.
- May independently work on small tasks and may assist senior engineers on larger, more complex projects.
- Perform other duties as needed
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2 years of experience doing electrical power system analysis, electrical system planning, protective device application, settings and substation design is highly preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate. Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a SPS Design Coordinator position and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression
- Some travel may be required
- Desire to pursue growth opportunities and obtain registration
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture
