Structures Section Manager
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
- A minimum of 10 years of experience, including bridge design and management
- Project management skills desirable
- Professional Engineer registration or license, CA PE preferred
- Proven hands-on experience in all aspects of bridge design projects
- Experience using structural analysis programs and bridge design software
- Must be comfortable being viewed as a technical expert in engineering analysis and design and have proven background of technical leadership on these types of projects
- Familiarity with Caltrans publications (AASHTO Amendments, SDC, etc.) and PS&E preparation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, GEOPAK, AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Ability to handle multiple assignments
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organizational skills and ability to work with various teams in a team environment
- Strong listening skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

- Master's degree in Structural Engineering
- California SE
- Familiarity with engineering software packages such as: LEAP Bridge Enterprise, FB-MultiPier, LPile, AASHTOWare BrR, midas Civil, MDX, SAP2000, CSiBridge, LARSA 4D, ADINA, RM Bridge, spColumn, LUSAS, STLBridgeLRFD, or STLBridge

The expected compensation range for this position is $138,000 - $180,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location. Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.
