Transmission Line Engineering Manager
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Structural, Electrical Engineering, or related field required.
- PE license required.
- 8+ years of technical transmission line experience up to 500kV preferred, including at a minimum, conceptual knowledge of routing, environmental permitting, right of way acquisition, PLS-CADD modeling, steel and wood structure design, foundation design, material procurement, specifications, and construction support.
- Distribution line design and/or steel lattice tower modeling and design experience a plus.
- Track record of working cooperatively with diverse teams, regional, department, technical managers and project staff.
- Experience using industry standard design software required.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and conferencing platforms (Zoom, WebEx, Teams, etc.).
- Self-starter with strong written and verbal communication skills preferred.
- Strong conceptual, organizational, problem solving, and collaboration skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous consulting firm experience desired.
