Transmission Line Project Engineer
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience interpreting and applying industry design codes such as NESC, IEEE, ASCE and ACI.
- PE license required with the ability to obtain an Oregon and Washington PE license within 6 months of hiring.
- A minimum of 5 years of transmission line engineering experience.
- Proficiency using PLS-CADD,
- Proven experience performing analysis of transmission structures, preparing specifications, and originating engineering drawings for transmission line projects.
- Experience communicating and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, including environmental, real estate, construction, maintenance, substation, and project management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Lattice steel structure design software such as Tower and/or ATADS.
- Experience in foundation design using software such as LPile, Caisson and/or MFAD.
- Master’s degree in related field preferred.
