In the role of Water Operations Technical Advisor, you will be expected to:
- Evaluate the performance of advanced purified potable water distribution and aquifer injection well systems.
- Troubleshoot operational problems in drinking water distribution and aquifer injection well systems.
- Reviewing technical design reports and memoranda for advanced purified drinking water conveyance and aquifer well injection systems
- Support staff training in the operation of drinking water injection wells
- Ensure adherence to all relevant water quality regulations and permits for purified water injection well systems.
- Identify potential compliance risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
This is a part-time, temporary position.
- Maintain a current D2 Drinking Water Distribution Certification in the State of California
- Demonstrate five (5) years of active, recent experience in maintaining a potable water distribution and aquifer injection well system.
- Knowledge of relevant water quality regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analysis software and relevant industry tools.
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Microsoft Office product experience
- General background-related experience
