Architect/ Senior Healthcare Planner (PDC Experience)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Architectural Technology, or closely related field
- 10+ years experience
- Local experience with developers
- PDC experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and process
- Strong understanding of public private partnerships and AFP Projects
- Must have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specifications preparation of Project Specific Output specifications for healthcare projects.
- Strong experience in leading team in preparation of design and contract documents
- Strong knowledge of codes and good planning skills
- Experience with Infrastructure Ontario, Ministry of Health
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Architect, or related field
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired
- Experience in the areas of healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilities
