 HDR’s Construction Services team is growing, and we’re looking for talented professionals to join us! As a leader in innovative infrastructure solutions, HDR is building a new practice dedicated to delivering excellence in construction services.

In the role of Construction Engineer, we'll count on you to: 
  • Perform complex construction assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard construction engineering techniques and procedures
  • Conduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and scheduling
  • Receive, issue and track RFIs, submittals and other required data
  • Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications 
  • A minimum of 6 years experience in construction engineering
  • Tret Level 4 or 5 strongly desired
  • Experience with heavy highway construction with WVDOH
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field
  • Previous construction engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Estimating & CPM Scheduling Software, and web-based document collaboration software.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
