HDR is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Florida team. These positions can be located at our client site in Pompano Beach or Orlando.
Primary Responsibilities
- Serves as point of contact and project lead for multiple construction projects
- Plan and organize the work of subordinate and staff members
- Develop and/or review policies, methods, practices, and procedures
- Review programs for conformance with Department standards
- Perform constructability and biddability reviews
- Is a mentor to more junior roles
- Provides risk management and issue resolution leadership
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- A minimum of 7 years of major road and bridge construction experience
- A minimum of 2 years of project management experience
- Must have the ability to interact with various teams and have excellent organizational, project management and communication (both written and verbal) skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- PE License is preferred
- Previous experience on FDOT or FL Turnpike projects is a strong plus
