GIS Analyst
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Geography, Geospatial Science, Geographic Information Systems, Planning, Environmental Sciences, or relevant field.
- A minimum of 3 years of practical GIS experience
- Extensive experience with Esri Desktop ArcGIS software (Pro and Desktop), scripting and extensions (ModelBuilder, Python, Spatial Analyst, 3d Analyst, Linear Referencing, etc.)
- Extensive experiencing with ArcGIS Online platform and associated products such as Experience Builder, Story Maps, Field Maps, and Survey123
- Extensive experience in map generation and data visualization.
- Expertise with developing geodatabases and schemas (domains, subtypes), Access/SQL and other databases.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized. Highly responsive to requests from clients.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
Preferred Qualifications
- GISP Certification a plus.
- Esri Certification a plus.
- Experience working with transportation datasets from state and local government sources.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and effective time management.
- Experience using Adobe Illustrator or related graphic software for enhancing quality of GIS maps.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Enterprise and Portal for ArcGIS Server preferred.
- Experience in scripting, database management, and software development is a plus.
- Local candidates preferred.
