Hydraulics Designer/ EIT
The primary duties will include:
- Create detailed hydraulic designs of transportation facilities.
- Prepare cost opinions and write technical documents.
- Prepare process and civil design drawings with BIM/CADD platforms for construction documents.
- Support construction phase implementation of infrastructure improvements by providing engineering services and serving as owner’s representative.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Civil, Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
- EIT required or ability to obtain within 12 months. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of "Hydraulics Designer" and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
- Microstation or related CAD/BIM software and Microsoft Office experience.
- Must have strong communication skills, and be self-motivated, organized, flexible, and able to work both independently and with a project team to completion of tasks
- A valid driver’s license and safe driving record is required.
- Must be willing to travel/perform field work.
- Preference will be given to local candidates.
