Intercity & High Speed Rail Practice Group Leader

Required Qualifications
- A highly skilled professional in developing, negotiating, and building consensus around innovative interdisciplinary solutions to complex railroad technical, policy, and legal challenges.
- A respected organizational leader with a demonstrated record of developing, supporting, and maximizing the effectiveness of high-performance teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Planning, Engineering, or related discipline required.
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience with intercity and high-speed rail planning projects and programs required.
- Experienced in the development and management of diverse teams.
- The successful candidate must have knowledge of, and experience with, large scale intercity and high-speed rail planning and/ or NEPA projects.
- Experience with FRA, STB, other USDOT and State programs, especially federal grants, is required.
- Must have well-developed analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- A nationally recognized industry leader in railroad planning, engineering, and transportation policy, with progressively responsible experience in the public and private sectors, both in the United States and internationally.
- Master’s degree in Planning, Engineering, or related discipline preferred.
- Professional registration such as AICP, PE, PTOE, PTP, PMP preferred.
