In the role of Project Controls Specialist, we'll count on you to:
- Establish WBS, and develop and maintain complex project schedules for various phases of the project.
- Develop and maintain project workplan.
- Coordinate with necessary team members.
- Develop and monitor project metrics.
- Participate in project coordination meetings.
- Conduct project site visits if applicable.
- Conduct schedule baseline and schedule update reviews.
- Develop cost estimates.
- Perform other duties as needed.
- This is an on-site position, and only local candidates will be considered. Regular in-office attendance is required.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Business Administration, or Finance.
- A minimum of 5 years experience in project controls work on engineering and construction projects, including planning, estimating, forecasting, scheduling, cost control, schedule control, and project reports.
- Certifications (one or more): PSP, PMP, PEng, CM, EVP, PMI-SP, CST, Architect AIBC, AScT.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong decision making skills
- Working knowledge of MS Project or Primavera P6, and ability to interpret construction schedules.
- Previous experience working on healthcare projects.
- Bachelor's degree
- The capability to actively progress knowledge in the areas of:
- Oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and leadership skills
- Coordination and prioritization of multiple long and short-term tasks
- Organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities
