Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or closely related field
  • 15 years progressive experience on multi-disciplinary transportation related construction projects, for public transit rail agencies such as MTA NYC Transit , Long Island Railroad, Metro-North RR, Amtrack or NJ Transit
  • P.E. License or ability to obtain in New York and New Jersey within 6 months
  • 30-hour OSHA, track training, PMG 123 and EIC Blue Card
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be computer literate, experience with construction management software packages and Microsoft Office, Prolog, Primavera, etc
  • Must have strong oral/written communication and people skills and the ability to interact with the design team and other stakeholders
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
