- Oversee and coordinate construction activities of general contractors and/or subcontractors
- Assist leadership in processing paperwork to expedite construction activities
- Communicate and document all changes in scope to the project manager or client, especially any that impact cost, quality, schedule and safety
- Exercise judgement in evaluation of installed standard construction features to determine conformance with contract documents
- Provide input for updating project schedules, pay requests, progress reports and cost/budgeting reports
- Conduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and scheduling
- Receive, issue and track RFIs, submittals and other required data for RE/PM/Client
- Perform other duties including on-site safety inspections, document control, verifying project schedules and monitoring daily logs and status reports as needed
- Be liaison between design engineer and construction staff when require
- Assist Procurement as required
This position is subject to a governmental background check and preemployment drug test.
- 5+ years related experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A collaborative team attitude driven to remove obstacles from team progress
- Preference given to local candidates

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience
- A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects
- Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction
- Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
