Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or Construction Technology
- California P.E. license is required
- Minimum of 15 years experience conducting or documenting construction observation
- Minimum of 5 years experience as resident engineer and/or project manager on infrastructure construction projects
- Caltrans experience, either direct or as a consultant is required
- Must possess the ability to read and intrepret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepanices or conflicts within documents
This position is subject to pre-employment drug test and drug and alcohol testing the course of your employment based upon HDR's Drug Testing and Drug Free Workoplace Policy.
This position requires a valid driver's license and compliance with HDR's Vehicle Policy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project. Experience with other scheduling software is a plus
- Experience supervising direct reports and managing a team of people
- Supervisor training is a plus.
