About the Role
As a Senior Public Health Engineer, you will have the opportunity to design and supervise projects designated by your Group Leader. Carry out detailed design and calculations in accordance with industry guides. Assist and prepare specifications, reports and drawings to the design programme. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Engineer looking for a new challenge or a Public Health Engineer ready to take on more responsibility.
About you
We are looking for someone who is personable self-starter with the ability to project a positive ‘can do’ professional attitude at all times maintaining good working relationships. Someone who enjoys working collaboratively across disciplines being able to establish excellent working rapport within the team, business and with clients, with the ability to work under pressure, handle a varied workload and keep to tight deadlines whilst maintaining the highest level of technical excellence.
- Design, manage and supervise projects, establish client brief, technical requirements, scope of works, cost plans and agree deliverables, i.e. report, specifications and drawings scope for all projects with your Group Leader.
- Agree level of service, and project design duties with your Group Leader, for each project, understand relationship with fee.
- Assist Group Leader with monitoring engineering/CAD resource requirement for each project within your control.
- Liaise with the design team to produce co-ordinated designs that are technically compliant, to a consistent
- Maintain excellent client and design team relationships to achieve high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
- Assist Group Leader with identifying and implementing your personal training/CPD requirements.

- BEng, MSc or equivalent in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related subject
- Minimum 5yrs industry experience in Public Health Engineering.
- Have a Chartered Engineer status or seen to be working towards this.
- Experience in design for a range of projects ideally within high-end residential, offices or mixed-use developments, (experience in Data Centres/mission critical projects is highly advantageous)
- Able to undertake computer modelling (2D AutoCAD) organise and direct the production of CAD drawings
