Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Transportation, or Structural Engineering, or a related field

MS in Civil Engineering or related discipline a plus.

PE required

10 years of working experience related to hydraulics engineering, water resource engineering, and permitting for transportation projects.

Successful project leadership experience is required

Strong leadership, planning, mentoring skills and staff management experience is required

Project experience and existing relationships with DOT and municipal clients is a must

Must have technical proficiency preparing hydrologic and hydraulic analyses and reports, scour investigations, erosion and sediment control plans and reports, drainage and stormwater management design, waterway and NPDES permitting, quantity & cost estimates, and specifications

Design-Build project experience a plus

Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, InRoads, and OpenRoads Designer focused on storm water design and analysis preferred.

HEC-RAS and/or SRH-2D river modeling experience is preferred

ArcGIS Pro and HEC-HMS experience is preferred

Must have excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to support marketing efforts.

Typical starting pay range for this position:

•California will be  $116,645.00 -  $166,635.00 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
•Colorado will be  $101,430.00 -  $159,390.00 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
•Washington will be  $96,358.00 -  $166,635.00 annually/hourly depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
