In the role of Senior Human Resources Representative, we'll count on you to:
  • Provide Human Resources support for the NE/IA Engineering and Architecture organizations including employee relations, new hire onboarding/recruiting, leadership coaching and development, general HR functions, and administration of HR programs.
  • Help ensure the fair and consistent application of our policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the investigation and resolution of employee concerns and complaints in coordination with the Area HR Manager to help ensure a healthy work environment.
  • In consultation with the Area HR Manager, handle employee relations and performance management concerns/issues.
  • Assist employees with leave of absence and accommodation requests.
  • Help to oversee/drive annual performance and salary review process.
  • Assist in the preparation, oversight and management of Affirmative Action Plans for area locations and identify and engage in outreach initiatives.
  • Manage university partnerships and initiatives including event management, Summer Intern hiring and onboarding and Summer Intern Program engagement activities in partnership with the Area HR Manager, Summer Intern Hiring Managers, Support Staff and Technical Staff.
  • Assist managers throughout the employee life cycle from new employee onboarding to employee offboarding.
  • In partnership with the Area HR Manager facilitate/support training of new supervisors e.g., performance management, annual reviews and leadership training.
  • In coordination with the Area HR Manager, develop and/or present a variety of training programs within area as needed.
  • Use corporate HRIS systems to maintain employee records and process employee actions.
  • Prepare and analyze HR reports to support the business e.g., active employee reports, exit interview surveys, engagement surveys, onboarding surveys, etc.
  • Assist Area HR Manger with various auditing/reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate requested compensation market studies with managers, the Area HR Manager, and Corporate Centers of Excellence (COE).
  • Engage and participate in various employee diversity networking groups.
  • In coordination with Regional Corporate Recruiters, assist with the hiring process where needed.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, business or related field
  • HR Certification is preferred.
  • InDesign/Graphic design experience is a plus.
  • Strong business acumen.

Required Qualifications
  • A minimum of 3 years related experience
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and strong client service ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
  • Ability to facilitate employee training a plus
  • Strong organizational and follow-up skills
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and various managers in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Ability to handle confidential information
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
