Traffic Engineer
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Civil or Traffic/Transportation Engineering
- Florida P.E. License
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in traffic engineering position
- Knowledge of Synchro, HCS, MS Word and Excel is required
- Experience must include traffic operations and safety; corridor studies, traffic impact analysis, highway capacity analysis; traffic operational analysis; report preparation
- Strong verbal and written skills
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of VISSIM, SIDRA, Cube, and Visum is preferred
- Knowledge of FDOT guidance regarding standards and procedures for traffic operational analyses, PD&E studies, IARs, and access management is preferred.
- Knowledge of HSM predictive safety analysis is preferred
