Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Urban Planner as Project Manager, we'll count on you to:

    • Lead and coordinate single or multidisciplinary project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle—from development to close-out.
    • Independently collect, manage, and analyze data related to land use planning, urban design, and landscape design.
    • Prepare constraints mapping, conceptual and schematic designs for residential and mixed-use developments, and detailed urban designs for various public spaces.
    • Produce high-quality illustrations and documents for master and specific plans.
    • Conduct and participate in public information meetings and hearings.
    • Define project goals, scope, and timelines while aligning with planning objectives.
    • Allocate resources, manage teams, and monitor progress to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
    • Address project risks and challenges using problem-solving strategies.
    • Track financial performance and coordinate efforts with operations, accounting, and business leaders.
    • Maintain and develop strong client relationships, support marketing efforts, and lead design and production meetings.
    • Implement QA/QC procedures and manage multiple small-to-medium projects concurrently.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning or a closely related field
    • 7 years related experience
    • A minimum 2 years project management experience
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and GIS
    • Strong communication and leadership skills
    • Experience in producing graphics and technical reports
    • Ability to travel, if required
    • Active participation in a collaborative, employee-owned culture

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master’s degree in Urban Planning or related field
    • PMP Certification (required for new responsibilities)
    • AICP Certification
    • Knowledge of PMI standards
    • Experience with MS Project
    • Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE)
    • Saudi nationality required
    • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience in the Saudi market

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning or closely related field
    • A minimum of 15 years experience in regional and local planning and design, with a strong foundation in project management.
    • AICP and PMP certification desired
    • PMI Knowledge
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
    • Extensive graphics and report document production experience
    • Experience with GIS
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Leadership skills and ability to work in a team environment
    • May require the ability to travel
    • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Urban Planning or related field
    • Experience with MS Project
