Transit Planner 1
Required
- Bachelor's in civil engineering or urban/transportation planning discipline; Master's preferred
- Passion for transportation planning and issues
- Strong technical writing and analytical skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple, simultaneous assignments
- Proficiency with GIS and graphic design software
- Interact with clients and industry organizations on behalf of HDR
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture
Preferred
- Technical expertise in transit planning, design, project prioritization, and implementation processes
- Professional experience in transit and rail project planning and operations
- Rail and bus operations and operations planning/simulation experience
- Preference is given to local candidates
